Create a dedicated network connection to AWS
AWS Direct Connect
AWS Direct Connect is a networking service that provides an alternative to using the internet to connect to AWS. Using AWS Direct Connect, data that would have previously been transported over the internet is delivered through a private network connection between your facilities and AWS. In many circumstances, private network connections can reduce costs, increase bandwidth, and provide a more consistent network experience than internet-based connections. All AWS services, including Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), Amazon Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3), and Amazon DynamoDB can be used with AWS Direct Connect.
Techpartner is a AWS partner and has a team of experts who have deep knowledge of the subject matter and provide a custom-tailored solution for the customer. With AWS Direct Connect, Techpartner ensures smooth and reliable data transfers at massive scale for real-time analysis, rapid data backup, or broadcast media processing. We monitor our virtual devices and traffic flows using a series of Amazon CloudWatch metrics and we publish those metrics in CloudWatch dashboards. We created a set of Transit Gateway, NAT Gateway and Direct Connect metrics that accurately represent the status of the network.
How does it work?
The AWS Direct Connect cloud service is the shortest path to your AWS resources. While in transit, your network traffic remains on the AWS global network and never touches the public internet. This reduces the chance of hitting bottlenecks or unexpected increases in latency. When creating a new connection, you can choose a hosted connection provided by an AWS Direct Connect Delivery Partner, or choose a dedicated connection from AWS—and deploy at over 100 AWS Direct Connect locations around the globe. With AWS Direct Connect SiteLink, you can send data between AWS Direct Connect locations to create private network connections between the offices and data centers in your global network.
AWS customers can use AWS Direct Connect to establish a dedicated network connection from their premises to AWS. This gives them a more consistent network experience than a shared, Internet-based connection along with increased throughput and the potential to reduce network costs.
